Most people don't question a visit to the doctor, but may feel hesitant to seek help when faced with a mental or emotional struggle.


The healthy management of thoughts and emotions requires knowledge and skill. Sadly, these skills are rarely emphasized in our modern education system. As a result, many of us grow into adults without ever learning how to respond to an intense emotion, address a negative thought pattern, or motivate ourselves effectively.

Counselling is not a mysterious process! It is a well-researched discipline, and a good counsellor will always be able to tell you exactly what is happening in session and why.
